Privacy policy

This site is run by Rebecca Himelfarb, Broker, Forest Hill Real Estate Inc., Brokerage, 28A Hazelton Avenue, Toronto, ON M5R 2E2. This policy explains what personal information I collect through it and how I use it.

What I collect

When you send the contact form, I receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, what you're thinking about, any address you share and your message. Like most websites, the site and its hosting provider also record basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you and to provide real estate services you ask about. Your enquiry is stored in the tools I use to manage my business, including my customer relationship management system (Follow Up Boss) and my email.

Advertising

I advertise my services online, including on Facebook and Instagram. To show my ads to people I already know, I may share contact details such as email addresses and phone numbers with Meta Platforms. Meta converts them into a coded form (hashing) before matching, and uses them only to show my ads, not for any other purpose. This site may also use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code that lets Meta show my ads to people who have visited the site and tells me whether those ads led to an enquiry. You can control the ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

Your choices

You can ask me to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop using your contact details for advertising, at any time. Email rebecca@foresthill.com or call 647 891 9553, and I'll act on it promptly.

Keeping it safe

I keep your information only as long as I need it to serve you and to meet the record-keeping rules for Ontario real estate brokerages, and I use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards. I don't sell personal information.
